Material and human resources
As much as in the sphere of Language Sciences at the Faculty of Letters, as in the field of Otorhinolaryngology, Neurology and Medical Psychology at the Faculty of Medicine, the University of Lisbon has at its service teachers and researchers whose competences are renown and recognised both at home and abroad.
Apart from involving the Departments from the two Faculties of Letters and Medicine, the Programme also depends upon the excellence of their respective Research Centres as well as on the contributions given by different consultants, and arising out of interactions operating with other Faculties and Universities that all meet together to help each PhD student find his/her individual path of study.
The material resources include the classrooms, study rooms, libraries, laboratories and specialised equipment all of which are located in a single campus that is brought together and run in an integrated system in order to best support the Programme and efficiently answer scientific and pedagogical demands as well as ensure high quality teaching.
The University of Lisbon offers unequalled conditions on the Portuguese scene for following through a PhD Programme in Voice, Language and Communication because for many years it has cemented cooperating working relations in graduate and post-graduate education and research work.
